location: Guanajuato center fountain

duration: 25 minutes

In the student city of Guanajuato during the InSitu festival in the city’s public space.
A performance in which I investigate different archetypes of women and how they are portrayed.
Location is a fountain with shell and fish cultures in the center of Guanajuato.
It is in interaction with a music academy student who plays the violin and in the performance we respond to each other through improvisation.
It is a traditional setting that I perform and he plays sitting next to it on a bench.
I first connect with the public by handing out folded tulips.
From modest female types and veiled I transform into warrior and liberator.
